FeedBurner Add-on

An extension that converts all RSS/Atom feed links within the forum into one through FeedBurner, and possibly adds the subsequent autodiscovery tags in the header.

    Wow, I'm surprised that no one else is interested in this idea. It would make it so much easier with feeds in general. Although, really all you would have to do is modify the RSS extension to still output a feed, but show a custom link for the feed.

    I think the problem may be the dynamic nature of Vanilla's feeds. In a blog you typically have a set number of feeds: one for the posts, maybe another for the comments. That makes it very easy to go to FeedBurner and burn those two feeds. With Vanilla, you can have any number of feeds, since there's one for the forum overall, and then one for each discussion. I don't think FeedBurner provides any mechanisms for dynically adding a new feed for burning, which would be necessary for the discussion-specific feeds. Any FeedBurner extension would probably be limited to the whole-forum feed.

    their is one thing about feedburner, it doesn't allow u to track multiple category feeds and display them all at once in your profile. So u have to keep track of all ur category feeds seperately, which can be pretty annoying. I can see a one main feed, and one per categoy thats it. no discussion specific feed.

    Hi, I know this may sound dumb, but I cannot seem to figure out how to get Feed Publisher working properly. There dont seem to be any real instructions for installation other than "YOU MUST MANUALLY CONFIGURE categories_config.php.php FOR THIS ADD-ON TO WORK!!!" in the readme file but no explanation is given. At the moment, i'm getting a "No Input file specified" when i click on the RSS2 link in the side panel. Anyone know the secret and is willing so share it? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I've got a feeling it's something quite simple
