Not able to actually insert additional Emojis

When I click on the "Show More" button it shows all the Emojis but when I click on any of the new ones they don't get inserted. Only the Emojis above the button get inserted.
Using Vanilla 2.3.1.

To me that sounds like a CSS problem and some element is "overlaying" above the extended emoji box and receives click events. It doesn't sound like a JavaScript problem.
Do you have the skills to check for CSS problems by yourself? Otherwise you can send me the credentials of a test user of your forum.
