Does anyone know how this was done. I've been building my forums up and found the forums.thesims.com 's polls feature to be very cool. The votes cast are displayed in the users comments section as well.

Their pluign is called Polls. It is a part of vanilla hosted for their customers. It is not distributed or Open Sourced.
