crocodile hunters have short life spans due to living on the edge, Irwin was one of the good ones I believe, but I think swimming over a giant stingrey wasn't the brightest idea, decisions will get you killed every time, long live the crocodile hunters
there's nothing wrong with swimming over stingrays. but when you're in the water and want to get a good shot then it can happen that you acidentally get a bit too close and the stingray might've felt trapped or something like that. anyways, he was brilliant...
sounds like love related blues
Hope all is ok, mini
(ps, so saddened to hear of Steve Irwin's death yesterday.......freakish ending for the master showman)
@garvin - is that true about Swell? You are privy to inside information? My understanding was that it was at least a year away. Or did I miss an obvious bit of humor ...
sorry to hear of your sadness, Mini.
I have been there with relationships and one can get stung really badly (as I have on one big occasion, many moons ago)
Did your lover come back home at midnight, totally drunk and unable to even go to bed properly, telling you strange things in spanish and laughing about a joke which was never told?
never swim behind or on top of a stingrey if you value your life, this is a new rule that I adopted since the death of Irwin, not taking any chances ;-)
Having met and chatted with Steve Irwin at the airport last year I feel like I've known him for years. A nicer bloke you would be hard pressed to meet. An utterly charming and sincere individual, he was the genuine article and will be missed by many. My heart goes out to his wife and kids, I'm sure they are shattered.
