Make sure you have a current, valid email address set in your profile and set a password so you can login without it. If you get locked out after that time, you can choose "Forgot Password" to fix it as long as a valid email is on your account.

Disabling activity feeds/walls/etc.

Pretty simple - my community doesn't want these features, and I don't want them exposed in the UI to confuse people with. I have some permissions set to lock users out of some things related, but this doesn't get all of it.

    If after drilling down thru permissions for roles and you still have items you don't want...

    if confused users are your primary issues. you can always hide the features you want removed via css.

    you can also clone and edit theme to remove various menu options.

    Pragmatism is all I have to offer. Avoiding the sidelines and providing centerline pro-tips.
