edited March 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Is it currently possible to send email messages to all participants of a discussion if a new comment appears?

  • Notify extension.
  • Thanks. The email notifications feature was the last thing that prevented me from calling Vanilla the best free forum I've ever seen. :) Exellent job.
  • excellent - I've been waiting for this feature

I tried the Notify extension however it gets this warning :-( PHP Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of [runtime function name](). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in public_html\vanilla\extensions\Notify\default.php on line 224 .... Never mind, I found the answer in the Notify discussion
