Vanilla icons appear as white boxes
Version 2.5 fresh install. Minimum requirements more than met and hosted by siteground.
The problem only exists on a desktop/laptop display, where all icons are either white, or appear as a box with border. Hovering over each area will display a tip. Mobile (IOS) display is perfect. I found the problem to be the same with a fresh install of V2.3.
I do not know what might have changed, because I have another vanilla forum (ver 2.3) on a different domain which has worked seamlessly for almost a year.
Has anyone come across this problem and can point me towards a solution.

It looks like a js issue. Search the forum for editor buttons don’t show or something like that. I have seen it happen before. There is a solution out there.
