questions - answers

I wanted to see if Lussumo could be used as a question - answer board. First I took a look at the code (initial idea: limit comments per user per discussion: 1-2). But then I discovered it is **so simple** and already built-in. Clients: Add comments- Start discussions+ Salesman\ Consultant\ Client representative Add comments+ Start discussions+ If you will set up forum this way clients have right to ask questions and moan about your product (in the limits of decent discussion). Client representatives could answer these questions and that's it. No long heated discussions as client have only the right to start a discussion not to comment on it (further). I guess *lots of small enterprises* could use it this way. So I wanted to share this idea. Just rename 'start discussion' to 'ask a question'.

  • My question is. Could I do the same with other forums (set user rights in this way). Punphp, vbulletin, invisionboard or other CMS or blog engines.
  • The Vote Extension would be perfect for a q/a community too: http://lussumo.com/addons/?PostBackAction=AddOn&AddOnID=131
