Unique Name of User

Hi I am creating a plugin for sso, While I am creating a user it gives me error "The name you entered is already in use by another member". Can any one help how to skip this validation.

set Garden.Registration.NameUnique to false.

Either in your /conf/config.php or temporarily in your plugin:

saveToConfig('Garden.Registration.NameUnique', false, false);

Thanks. but how this will affect the login feature by Username.

Users will have to use their email-address to sign in.
