How to set up login with Google account?

I just installed Vanilla Forum, and I could not find a way to enable registering and logging in with Google account. How to do this? Any step-by-step guides somewhere around?

Welcome to the community.

I think the Google + social connect plugin might be what you want.

It is in the core, so you should find it already in your Dashboard, under plugins.

I think Google+ is going to be shut down soon, so will this work?

I'd say there is no way to log in with Google right now. Please see this issue on GitHub for reference: https://github.com/vanilla/vanilla/issues/8153

If there will be any progress, you would see it there first. You can also ask for the timeline at that place.
