Addon enabling Discourse-like trust level?

I'm running a Discourse forum (for trial purposes) but am considering other alternatives. One feature Discourse has that I really like is the concept of Trust Levels -- especially the idea that active and liked users can be automatically promoted to positions where they can perform simpler moderation tasks (like changing the title/category of posts, or hiding spammers). The idea is that you'd need fewer actual moderators that way.

Is there an addon for Vanilla that provides similar features?

Welcome to the community.

You could look at the addon YAGA, which has ranks, promotion to which can be determined by custom rules (afaIK - I don't use the ranks feature.)

You can create roles with custom permissions via the Dashboard, so it shouldn't be too difficult to marry the two.

which has been updated to work with recent versions of Vanilla.

Note it is an application, not a plugin, so goes in the applications folder.
