Discussions and comments count not working

Hi all,

I've noticed today that in my forum (self hosted, running v.f. 2.8.3) in categories page the count of discussions and comments isn't working at all.

Any suggestion? How to fix it?

Splitting/merging discussions/comments results in that for me.
