I am an avid user of TheFileBrowser from yesteryear - easily the most elegant and practical way to generate an image gallery. Is it still available? My usable install may have gone down with a server crash.
Additionally, did Swell, the blog software, ever get anywhere? I'd be interested to use it in place of Wordpress.

Swell was never released, as far as I know.
As for TheFileBrowser, it's no longer online to be downloaded, as far as I know. Maybe you can find it at archive.org here.
