Solution is here: https://open.vanillaforums.com/discussion/comment/258253/#Comment_258253

Tested with version 1.0 from the addon section and version 1.1 from https://github.com/yaypaul/DiscordWidget (Kudos @R_J for updating)

Only get endless load with the squares spinning/rotating and "0 members online" although there are plenty online if accessing channel directly.

Anyone using this plugin?

Any suggestions?

  • Their own widget have same issue - so probably not a plugin issue.

Advice to avoid others being embarrassed, like me now, in the future.

    On Discord:

    Server Settings>Widget>Enable Server Widget

  • Is this plugin still working? When I install it, then try the settings icon in the plugin screen I get a blank overlay.

The Readme file was brief and I can't find any further info about configuration.

  • I cannot say anything specific on this plugin, but as a general advice for such a problem: right click on the settings icon and open it in a new tab. Sometimes this reveals error messages which cannot be seen in this popoup

Do you use the 1.1 version linked in this discussion?

    That is what I use.

  • Console does not seem to be reporting anything, but I'll take a closer look.

I did download from github. I'll try again. FYI, I am using the most recent build of Vanilla.

  • Got it working. Disabled the plugin, deleted. Updated cache. Downloaded and installed again. All is well.
