Whisper opt out option

Ability to leave a whispered discussion without blocking the user. Sometimes, the whispered discussion can go stupid, and hence i would like to opt out of it politely. This way I don't have to block the user, since i have nothing against the user, just didn't like where that one particular whispered discussion was headed. Perhaps a message will be displayed in the whispered discussion that a particular user has decided to leave the discussion. and when they reply my username doesn't appear in the whispered box.

    Would the ability to sink or close this discussion work?

    I can see that ability if the discussion was a purely whispered discussion--without containing some public messages.

    But, why not just ignore the message?

    isn't close of sink discussion for moderators. not members ignoring the message won't work cause u want to ignore the whole discussion, not just a message. PLus if i ignore it it still shows up in my Whispered discussions. i guess this feature isn't as must as i was thinking it would be.
