  • nothing new here, but a great promotion for damn small linux I don't buy it. Any interactive thing on your web site could also be quite a cost-center as it takes time to read and answer to your custmers "At the DSL website we provide: a multi channel forum a wiki blogging software (Drupal) a store"
  • I think its insane how businesses get free opensource software then turn around and sell it to their idiot customers who buy it, the argument is they are not selling it only offering it with their package yea right me no dumbshit, its selling plain and simple, best that people get their own OS stuff and add it themselves, but I can understand the hosting company's providing the administrative setup role, because the average person doesn't know how to do that, but what they are doing is adding their OS packages in a way that makes it appear they are the ones providing it with their own service with a price tag. I'm sorry but package A $760 includes: free shit item 1 free shit item 2 free shit item 3 a whopping value of $3000 worth of shit all yours for only $760 that doesn't cut it in my reality ;-) they are lying their ass off to the consumer as always to inflat their value I love OS but I also believe businesses use it to exploit the consumer ignorance
  • all businesses exist to exploit consumer ignorance in some way, period.
