Accessibility and the Default Theme

I think you guys should add contrast to the default theme according to web accessibility standards. I have difficulty reading the new dashboard menu, and will have to make the color of the links darker, maybe we should not sacrifice usability in benefit of design.

edit: I mean, honestely, I was giving a look on the forum and have tears in my eyes.
