Rich Editor not working on Android Chrome
Cobbers
New
When I hit the textarea there's no response at all: no cursor appears, the pop-up Android keyboard doesn't appear, and there are no editor icons (Emoji, Image, Embed, Attachment).
It's an old-ish Android tablet, probably 4-5 years old, but has been updated as far as possible. Not sure exactly which Android/Chrome versions but I can try to find out if it would be useful.

Android version 5.0.2
Google Chrome version 46.0.2490.76
Sorry but that’s not a supported browser at this point in time. It’s horribly insecure and very dated.
For reference the current released chrome version is 79 with 80 coming in the following weeks.
Update your devices software and browser.
Thanks. That user cannot upgrade Chrome further (inadequate device specs probably). Is there an alternative wysiwyg editor that I could swap in? He is a VIP user and I don't want to tell him to upgrade his equipment.

@Cobbers Advanced Editor is still shipped with Vanilla and supports older browsers.
You can find it in the "plugins" setting of your dashboard. Follow the instructions in that article to set it as your post format.
I feel the pressure...
