being a newbe I'm going to try and instal vanilla. i need to know does vanilla create its own database or do I have to create one and if I do what tables and fields are required. thanks kind regards vlad

    you have to create a database with a username and password. you then enter that info into the installer that comes with Vanilla. Vanilla creates the database structure for you.
