your forum is working well
If you want to convert your urls to pretty urls use this method

Generel home page (landing page of your forum) is set in
/dashboard/settings/layout
in the topmost option select either discussion or categories
By using this aswell
your users can set their individual home page.
(your forum can be generel set to categories but users can select to land on discussion in their profile settings)

After logging in, such a theme comes up even though I changed the theme
You are using the Pockets plugin and that has an option to show where pockets can be placed. This is responsible for the yellow fields

You have that Fast login plugin enabled. Looks like they are destroying the layout.
When you experience problems like that, try to look at your plugins and if one of them might be the cause.
