Inserting Links ABOVE CommentBox

edited September 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
The Quicklinks is a little too heavy for my liking, or for my needs at least, and was wondering if anyone could make a simple extension that printed a list of links ABOVE the comment box, such as: img, a href, code, ... Clicking on them, would then add some code/ text to the CommentBox field. They links just need to be text, not inputs/buttons like the quickTags. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Nathan.

I would look at that extension and see how he adds the quick tags. You could then add your text in that same manner.

Did that is it works perfectly. It is a really REALLY cut down version of Quicktags now.

Since I haven't looked at that extension, I would think you could copy that and call it somethinh else and eliminate what you don't want (or add what you do).
