Inserting Links ABOVE CommentBox

edited September 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
The Quicklinks is a little too heavy for my liking, or for my needs at least, and was wondering if anyone could make a simple extension that printed a list of links ABOVE the comment box, such as: img, a href, code, ... Clicking on them, would then add some code/ text to the CommentBox field. They links just need to be text, not inputs/buttons like the quickTags. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Nathan.

  • I would look at that extension and see how he adds the quick tags. You could then add your text in that same manner.
  • Did that is it works perfectly. It is a really REALLY cut down version of Quicktags now.
  • Since I haven't looked at that extension, I would think you could copy that and call it somethinh else and eliminate what you don't want (or add what you do).
