Lots of questions!

Hi guys. I am one of those guys who's wanting to turn vanilla into a full site engine, thanks to some extensions this has become a reality. I have also followed the super-simple instructions on how to merge the login/user reg. with wordpress, how simple! Now I would like to have my wordpress posts posted automatically on vanilla forums aswell! I understand now that it is possible to add data to vanilla tables through wordpress, and vice versa, thusly this cannot be so hard to do now, i only hope. By creating categories in Vanilla, they would also be created in Wordpress, and by adding messages to a certain category through wordpress, they would be added on the blog AND on the forum, on the same category, I wonder how hard that is to achieve... But there's a solution that would not even need wordpress, and that is a search filter, or a categoy link, like http://lussumo.com/community/10/ . The difference between a search filter and a category link is that by searching comments, you get a small excerpt of the post on the results, how hard can it be to add the first 100 characters of a post to it's discussion block on the category link? its already being done on the search! What stops me from using the search filter is that the excerpt only appears on actual comments, but not on discussions, and some functions get disabled on there, such as views, category icons, etc, and also, the excerpts on the search are not parsed by html/bb code that the user assigned on their post... how come?... Please please someone work on an extension that displays the first X number of characters of the first post below the discussion title! to be able to activate this on a specific category, or all of them. Or for the second option, to have wordpress posts posted on wordpress AND vanilla forum!
