Any idea how to change webroot urls on forum ?

My forum is located in subdomain folder /sub/forum. I've already checked .htaccess and everything's good, it even works when I go through forum.xxx.com, it gives me my main page and every other URL works the same ... but forum anchors link to forum.xxx.com/sub/forum/ or forum.xxx.com/sub/forum/category/etc. I've tried to echo $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] and $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] and it outputs forum.xxx.com properly ....
Any idea what am I doing wrong or where to edit these links ? I've already tried configuring WebRoot and StripWebRoot , or configuring Domain in Garden
I'm on Version 4.0-2020.009-SNAPSHOT

Hi, I advise you to not use snapshot versions,
Only use the latest stable version that you can download here: https://open.vanillaforums.com/addon/vanilla-core
The latest version is 3.3 at the time I write this.
