Very sweet OS media unit looking for forums

Probably the coolest thing I have seen today and they are looking for a forum package, with Vanilla as a candidate.

Requirements look like a good action plan for those of us developing add-ons:
* Snitz import ?
* Multi-level category hierarchy (several hacks of this, nothing yet in add-ons)
* Multi-group memberships (Jazzman's multi roles)
* Hidden, locked, etc. permissions (in the core)
* Scoped search--turning off certan categories from search results (Does this work with block category? Possible to set blocks temporarily for a search?)
* Syndication (RSS2 and Atom feed add-ons)
* Mailing list ?
* LDAP (Hack, otherwise as easy as wordpress & People integration?)

    I think anyone who wants a multilevel hierarchical category structure is going to be disappointed with Vanilla in general; it's antithetical to the basic ideas of Vanilla.

    The Neuros OSD is pretty cool, though; the beta sold out at Thinkgeek in like a day.
