Porting a theme from 2.0.18.4 to 3.3

I am trying to port a university-hosted forum built on Vanilla 2.0.18.4 to a commercially-hosted website. I have installed Vanilla 3.3 and notice that the structure of a Theme has changed dramatically. Under 2.0.18.4 a theme has design and views folders folder like 3.3, but lacks an addon.json file, an assets folder, fonts and images folders in the design folder etc etc.
Is there any tool to help me create a 3.3 theme that matches the 2.0.18.4 one, even if some features are cannot be handled?
