Chat system / addons for vanilla forum ?

Hello everyone !

I'm looking for a chat for my vanilla forum, i found many way like wechat (but it's paid) or Arrowchat (i don't know if i can integrate it on my main vanilla forum page) or Ajaxchat (it's look old).

My question is: Wich solutions i need tu use to get a free chat system on my vanilla forum ? And how to install the chat on the forum ?

i have find some manu other topic but all of them are very outdated (2012).

When you search for chat in the addon directory you might find some. Also there used to be a plugin called Van2Shout or similar (a shoutbox).

Most of them would need a bit of tweaking to make them Vanilla 3.3 fit I guess.

There is likely nothing that works now out of the box.

Also speak to your hoster before implementation of bigger chats, some forbid that on their servers.
