Getting 10+ junk user signups daily

I'm getting signups for more than 10 users daily who don't post anything and often don't even confirm their emails. I know these are not legitimate users because my forum does not require sign-up to view the discussions, and the total users do not match the size in which my audience is growing.
Is there a way to automatically delete users who do not confirm their email within a certain period of time, and delete users who do confirm but don't post a reply within a certain period of time?

YAGA can assign a new role upon first post as I recall.
When signing up users get role x
If YAGA then assigns them role y when they make their first post
Then with
https://open.vanillaforums.com/addon/cleanser-plugin
List users with role x and mass delete users which signed up z time ago
Yaga - note that you need to use one of the forks linked here, not use the plugin version attached in this link(as it is not updated)

Probably bots signing up, add q&A that's relevant to your genre

Both great suggestions. Thank you so much!
@scarlettyoung: Additionally for easier clean ups in the dashboard user list use BulkEdit (download for free at VanillaSkins) and continously add weird e-mail domains to your ban list.
