How would you fix this embed redirect issue?
Recently, I saw my forum traffic drop substantially after I had some work done on my website. I have the latest 3.3 install of Vanilla.
My web developer moved my forum from a standalone to an embed install. Unfortunately, this added an extra # in the link url.
Here is what is the problem: The links indexed by Google now do not match
For example, when you look up "Clean Beauty Debate" on Google one of my forum pages is on the first page. But when you click the Google indexed link, it defaults to the latest website blog post instead of going to the forum discussion thread. This results in lower traffic for the forum.
Here is the issue.
Current embed forum link - https://chemistscorner.com/cosmeticsciencetalk/#/discussion/8833/dont-miss-the-clean-beauty-debate/p1
Google indexed link: https://chemistscorner.com/cosmeticsciencetalk/discussion/8833/dont-miss-the-clean-beauty-debate/p1
That hashtag in the link is screwing things up.
Any idea how to fix that?

Did it get fixed?
Which solution?
Not fixed yet. We're trying the Google re-indexing route. They haven't updated yet.
