Bump causing eternal 'New' label
I'm using Vanilla 2021.009
I don't think the isse was there in 3.3, but when using bump on a post now it gets a 'New' label that won't go away unless deleting the last comment. I tried viewing all the pages in the discussion, but the 'New' label is forever there.
Thank you in advance

I tried it around some more. Deleting the last comment seem to also 'unbump' the discussion. So making a temporary comment doesn't work either. Making a new comment does delete the 'New', but also defeats the purpose of the plugin.
There has been an update in the read/unread logic:
Unfortunately I don't really see an easy way to account for this in the bump plugin, which always worked on a "hack" (just setting DateLastComment to the current time).
As a temporary measure, I can only suggest actually bumping topics with a reason (e.g. "this is still relevant").

I see, thank you Bleistivt. I think we can live without it too. I think it was mainly used as a strange way to rearrange several announcements that was made at the same time back in the beginning.
