2021.012 - move discussion functionality not working

I've recently upgraded from 3.3 to 2021.012 and I've noticed the functionality for moving discussions from one category to another is broken. I get the box asking where I want to move the discussion to, make a selection, hit move, the page reloads, and the discussion has not moved.
I don't see any errors in the browser console, it is a successful POST request
I don't see any error or debug logs either, so not sure what's going on. Anyone else seen this?

Yes, it's also not working here in this forum. So I hope it will be fixed quite soon.

upgrade to 2021.012 from 2021.009
it works for me.
