Discussions: partial display to Guests only

Hi all,

I am looking for a method to minimise display of my discussions to guests. Perhaps the first 200 characters, or something similar. The full discussion will be made available to signed on members.

Maybe some controls in the Categories section of the dashboard, where partial display can be a check box against guests, applicants etc.

This is designed to do two things primarily:

1. Encourage guests to sign up.

2. Further down the track, perhaps institute a premium subscription for those at sign up, though this would need some careful consideration.

I am finding that some of our content has been stolen, word for word in fact, so I want to put in place a system where I don't have to keep running back to the DMCA looking for recourse.
