Theming Vanilla

Hello,

I tried Vanilla on localhost and I must admit that theming Vanilla isn't really user-firendly.

I copied the default theme and added a custom header.

To change CSS I installed CSSEdit plugin and found classess from frontend that I wanted to customize.

Is there any other way to customize Vanilla forum without doing all this?

Maybe the Vanilla Enterprise version support like wordpress with customized sidebar

You already did what is recommended: start from something existing and try to tweak it.

But with some more effort, you can customize it more professionally. Take a look at the READMEs in the theme folder:
