  • What Lech is saying is what I found to be the case. I'm sure this stuff will all get ironed out -- nice to have this kind of feedback as you develop and improve the system.

    If you add a new category, you can select which roles get access to it right there in the category form - just like you can with the new role form. If you pull the roles out of the category form and only have the categories on the role form, then the opposite of the original bug will happen: Where a new category is added and all roles are granted access to it by default - and you might want that new category to be private. So now you have to go into every role and change their access. I'm definitely leaving this the way it is.
  • Ok, I just want it to make sense, you lost me in the previous response a little bit, that clears it up. As long as it works as intended when it's fixed, I don't think I'll find any problems with it.
