remember me, doesnt remember perminately.

if i log in and set it to remember me. I can restart the browser and return to the page and remain logged in. But after a few hours not sure how long if i return it wants me to log in again? any idea how to fix this?

    This is a server setting, session.cache_expire. Most of the time it is the default 180mn. You can try playing with session settings if you want to raise this limit.

    ah thanks for the heads up. it has to do with SSLSessionCacheTimeout, but im not running apache. so i need to find the lighttpd equivelent. or ssl settings somewhere.

    How can it be related?

    When the "remember me" option is on and the session is expired, People check keys in your cookies with one in the database to see if it can log you in.

    i found the option is my php.ini, hopefully that does the trick.
