Disabling the block/unblock category option & appendix

I'd like to do this on my install, as it doesn't really feel like an appropriate option in this instance. What is the best way to about this in the CSS?

    doh, yeah sorry i shoulda been more specific, is the appendix for discussions tagged differently from the appendix for categories, should be i guess..

    I believe that only the color codes that you select for new/old threads and blocked/unblocked forums get tranfered into the appendix. But since the appendix class is top level, rendering it with display none should remove it from view, if that's simply all you want to do. Everything within it should disappear as well.
