Problems with installation

Hi, I´m trying to install Vanilla in a local XAMPP apache server. Is running PHP 5.1.4 and listens to port 8080 because I have the IIS running too, listening to port 80. I´ve copied the files and folders to a folder on my local web. when i try to open the http://localhost:8080/myweb/forum I get an error message and can´t install vanilla: Error 500 localhost 10/16/06 21:33:32 Apache/2.2.2 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.2 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.1.4 The error does not only appear whith the php pages but also with the html and txt ones. If I delete the files form the forum folder and put other php files (not the vanilla ones) the server has no problems to read them. Can someone help me Thanks in advance

    I had to make changes to the httpd.conf file. Did you?

    I changed it when installed XAMPP and it has been working without problems. Well, not exactly, some months ago I tryed to test Object Oriented code from a book and never get it to work.
