registration with a password

I want to make a Vanilla for the readers of a weekly journal. I want to have a registration with a password. I publish the password in the journal. Readers can register to Vanilla by using the password an they become Members at once.

    You might want to have a look at the invitation extension. It generates and requires registration codes for registering, but rather than that just change it to require a static password.

    okey, thank you, i tried it. But it isn't what i'm looking for. The invitation extension needs single invitations via e-Mail. The system checks eMail and code. I want to invite all Readers of the printed journal and gave them somethink like a registration code
