Poll 1.3 - can add polls to discussions, but not to sidebar

Hi all, I've installed Poll 1.3 on my Vanilla 1.01 installation, and though I am able to add polls to individual discussions, I am unable to add a poll to the sidebar. I can set it up via Settings--->Extension Options--->Poll Management, and it shows up on the polls list. It just doesn't show up on the sidebar. Polls create within a discussion show up in thi settings window, and also seem to be working properly within the the discussion I create them in. Am I misunderstanding that I should be able to put a poll in the sidebar? (The only other extension I currently have installed is Category Icons. I have tried disabling it and this does not help my problem).

    I am surprised nobody answered your question.
    I don't believe Poll 1.3 allows you to add polls to the sidebar.
    Only in discussions.

    I to would like to see a poll that can be placed in the sidebar.
