  • Very nice set of applications. I've always like Adobe. But, I don't have a Mac.
  • I have the upgrade to Creative Suite 2.3 on its way, I won it as a door prize at a seminar!

    Sweet indeed!

By the way jimw, you don't "need" a Mac to run Creative Suite, although that would be the ideal!

If Flash didn't crash my firefox2, I'd look at that site.
  • I think it is firefox in general Mark. Most sites with flash seem to crash mine (1.5.0.7).

Odd, seems to have started a few weeks ago, and I don't remember updating flash or firefox when he crashes started happening. I tried flash beta 9 and it works on some pages but others still crash it.

  • Of course, I was heading out to upgrade my CS2 when I heard my name being announced.

I teach the Adobe Creative Suite, have done since the early days of InDesign 1.0.

I need to be up to speed when I get asked support questions.

But even if that was not the case, I love Photoshop and InDesign, they are always running on my Mac. Acrobat 8 looks great now we can make forms that can be filled in using Acrobat Reader.

Also, although I am not a Dreamweaver fan, CS 2.3 comes with a full version of Dreamweaver which I think I'm going to have to embrace, judging from the tone of the presenters, GoLive is being "maintained" to give us a choice but I feel it will be dropped at the first opportunity.

I was going to wait for CS3 but I need to be current in my business.

Also, when CS3 comes out, my bean-counter says I can have a MacBook Pro!
