Strange search result paging bug

edited November 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Just ran into this bug, if you go to a comment search result, then try to page somewhere else in the topic, it will not go.

1. Do a comment search for a topic on multiple pages (in this case I used 'mac')
2. Click on the text of any of the 'I hate PCs' results.
3. Note the page you are on in the discussion, and try to click to a different page.

Tested both here and on bigfatgun

  • Looks like the "Focus" paramter stays in the URL even though you're clicking on a different page. For instance, when I tried to jump back to page 2, this is the URL that was fed to the browser: http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/4242/2/the-official-i-hate-pcs-discussion/?Focus=50166 It would have worked fine if the "Focus" parameter wasn't still there.

Nice find, dan! I've fixed this bug in SVN.
