Translate extensions

edited December 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hello, why each extension cannot (apparently) have its own directory for each language? Because to use the file "definitions.php" located in the global "languages" directory for all extensions is not practical to share a translation of an extension (and conf/language.php in the extension directory is not good to use for this and is for ONE language only). --> Why not use extensions/<extension_name>/languages/<language_name>/definitions.php? And like that, if French (for example) is choose in language (in the administration), will be used: - languages/French/* (global) - extensions/<extension_name>/languages/French/* (extension) That would allow a multi-language forum with the extensions also translated (without anything to modify, just addition). Thanks for advance. :)
