Adding a tab to the menu

  • Nice extension, but try changing settings or any other POST data in pages 'settings.php', 'post.php' etc, and php throws an error message about modifying headers. Presumably this AddTab method is outputting HTML before a header call. Never good. M.
  • it works ok for me on my local install ?

strange, doesn't seem to do that for me
are there any blank spaces or new lines after the closing ?> tag? a simple thing i know but it's solved a lot of header errors for me in the past
  • Ah ha, that would make sense... Cheers! M.
  • no problem
  • thanks, thats pretty cool.. i'll give it a try :)

i was just pointing out that it was available for someone to snag.. someone grab it.

and let's hope no one thinks it's a Mac OSX app.. :)
  • Sorry to bump this, Im trying to add another tab, but regardless of what value I put in for 'position' it appears as the first tab on the list. Any suggestions as to why?
  • did you set the $forcePosition variable to 1 ?
  • I copied the code from above so the 'position' was 4 and 'force position' was 1.
  • vanillaforum.com is available, could do a subdomain- extensions.vanillaforum.com
  • please see http://lussumo.com/community/comments.php?DiscussionID=533&page=1#Item_1 i believe it will be the only official source for extensions, styles etc.
  • I knew it was up, I was just saying is all. I liked the sound of the domain.
  • stuart, make sure you have the latest version (0.9.2), or else the $forcePosition won't work. that variable wasn't present in (0.9.1b)
