Is it possible that the new version has slowed everything down?

Since upgrading from 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 my forum has been pretty darn slow. We're talking on average 7 seconds per page request, which is pretty slow compared to what it used to be. I have tried disabling and enabling extentions with no difference is it possible that this is due to the upgrade, or just a coincidence?

    I'd say coincidence... the changes were very minor, certainly nothing that could slow a forum down by any noticeable amount.

    thats what im thinking. However, there may be a few extensions that get moody as a result perhaps?

    No. All that the update did was create a constant and then check for it's existence in subsequent files. It should have virtually no effect on the application's performance.
