Searching for Recent Add-on Updates

I know that there may be built-in support for this in the future, but is there any chance that the Add-on search page can have an option in the drop down menu to search for "Most Recently Updated"?
Either that, or have "Most Recent" include the update date in its search parameters. Right now, "Most Recent" only searches for newly created Add-ons — which is less helpful when you need to quickly look for the latest updates.
(BTW.. Just want to say thank you to everyone who has been updating their extensions. It's been extremely helpful!)
