Changing roles?

When I change a role, it gives people this really ugly text area everytime they post that everyone can see. Is there a way to get rid of this?

    You mean the red bar? That's the 'role tagline' and can be changed or removed on the settings page.

    Yeah, I suspect that'll be one of the things to come out of the core into an extension in future versions. It can be good as a novelty or sometimes useful but it's certainly not a necessary feature :)
