FRIENDLY URL problem when the topic is in Chinese

If the title is 灌水大虾 which is in Chinese the url is actually like this: http://www.veryuk.co.uk/discussion/6//#Item_1 however it should be like this:http://www.veryuk.co.uk/discussion/6/灌水大虾/#Item_1 . No problem with English title. Any one can tell me how to solve it? Thanks. :)

    This would also be of interest to me as I do some work with Chinese text in my day job, so it's possible I could end up with a forum with Chinese characters in them as well. any ideas dfrom anyone?
