Blinking yellow with each new message

I have this extension active on my message board. I'm just wondering if there is a way to change the color that it blinks. My board is schemed on a completely different spectrum so it makes it kinda ugly. If there isn't a way to do it, no big deal.

I think you would have to edit the functions.js file. I looked at it and you can change a number to adjust the speed and color. I haven't tried it. I did find another js that will fade anything as long as it is given a class name of "fade". It was made by Adam Michela and is called Fade Anything Technique. Since I don't know js, I'm not sure how the YellowFade extension works with the newcomment.
