    I tried pouring some into the cd drive so i could email it, but it just made the computer spark. What's the trick, do I need a special USB adaptor?

    you need a chug ™ adaptor to send beer over tcp/ip i beleive...

    man i have an old server under my desk with a bad cd rom drive.... i may try to make it so that thing is permanently out and make it a cup holder for real :P

    Heh. I remember seeing a some years ago on the internet (where else?!) , some guy who took a cd drom drive and bolted it to the bototm of his desk and made it a cup holder (basically the button makes the drive go in and out) with some re-enforcing of the tray. I thought it was kind of neat.
