Lore on the Fragility of Add-Ons
I find myself hesitating to install quite a bunch of add-on's because a number of them seem (rather significantly) buggy and/or have semi-undocumented interactions with other add-on's.
Would any of our gurus be willing to scribble some comments into this discussion about things they have observed with specific add-on's - and especially those which interact unpredictably (or maybe all too predictably) with other add-on's?
I know this is, by nature, a moving target as add-on's are fixed, extended, new ones are added, etc.. Still, a discussion that logs some of the current state-of-the-art might not only help admins like me but suggest priorities for needed work on specific, valued add-on's?

Here is one add-on whose solidity I crave that is still not quite there: Multi-Roles. We cannot reveal-or-hide specific categories based on multiple roles. See also the main Multi-Role discussion thread.
Note also Multi-Roles's's's dependency on being loaded first, before other add-ons.
It's not your grammar that sucks by the way, it's your punctuation!
