Map-based photoblog software choices? Help!

I'm sending a gnome on a world adventure and wanted to create a map based photoblog to show his route and images taken at each stop. I foolishly assumed there would be a wealth of map based photoblogs since I assumed this would be the most logical way to blog about a trip someone took. I was mistaken. While there are lots of photo blogs, maps are usually add-ons and I haven't found an add-on yet that shows a route - just disparate dots for locations.

There is so much out there though I had to assume I am missing some things. I was browsing the photoblog wiki but thought I would also post here since I loved the discussion here on content management systems that I followed a few months back (btw switched to radiant and loving it).

Help?

  • If you look in the Member Mapping discussion, you'll see a link to Worldkit. It looks like it would do what you want.
  • hm. A bit ugly and slow, but I think it will work. Seems very configurable. Thank you!
